About Me

Hello Again! I am a freelance medical writer with a passion for using writing as a conduit to improve patient outcomes. My deep interest in targeting Health Disparities was sparked during my didactic work while working on my MPH degree. The article "The Social Determinants of Health: It's Time to Consider the Causes of the Causes" by Paula Bravemen, MD, MPH and Laura Gottlieb, MD, MPH will forever be remembered. I have since sought out work to target those Social Determinants of Health factors that affect the health of the patients I serve. My efforts in clinical and writing spaces continue to be necessary for targeting Health Disparities.

From a practice standpoint, I work in a Cardiology Ambulatory Care Clinic. My current area of clinical practice is in Heart Failure. I am actively involved in R&D and IRB committees, Ethics Consultation, Medication Safety, and Health Equity. In addition, I implement quality improvement projects with a focus on Pharmacoequity.

From a writing standpoint, I have experience with writing, reviewing, and editing a range of scientific content: abstracts, slide decks, posters for professional conferences (regional, state, national), protocols, academic journal articles, proposals and needs assessments.
